We're lucky enough to have plenty of great donut shops in Georgia, and there's no need to visit a chain when we have so many wonderful local businesses crafting up incredible donuts! One of our favorite donuts in the Peach State is tucked away in quite a surprising location. You might expect the title of best donuts in Georgia to go to somewhere in a larger city, like Atlanta or maybe Savannah or Augusta. But we think the very best are available at a little shack in Crawford, a small town with a population of barely over 1,000 people. Cafe Racer in Crawford, GA is a spot that's not that well-known to outsiders, but trust us: It's worth a visit. There's even a second location in Athens now, so you can get your fix there, too!

The original Cafe Racer location is a little shack with a walk-up window that certainly doesn't look like too much from the outside.

There's no indoor or outdoor eating area, and because the food's so good, you'll be lucky if you even make it out of the parking area without eating it all!

You'll find food here that's so delicious it often sells out each and every day. The biscuits are beloved and come with a variety of toppings.

It's the donuts, however, that are the star of the show. They're sometimes sold out within just a few hours of opening!

Since the food is in such high demand, it's recommended to order online in advance.

The flavors change daily, so you never know what donuts will be up for grabs.
