The outdoor garden area is absolutely beautiful for a stroll before or after your meal. Even if the weather's not great, you can still enjoy some incredible scenery from the restaurant's River Room with its massive picture windows. This Atlanta suburb may not be on the coast, but fresh seafood is flown into Ray's on the River daily, so you'll enjoy amazingly delicious eats here. The surf-and-turf options are wonderful, and the cocktails and appetizers are perfect to share with that special someone.

3. Chive Sea Bar & Lounge (Savannah)

The Hostess City has no shortage of romantic restaurants perfect for date night, and Chive Sea Bar & Lounge is one of the best. It's located on Broughton Street, probably my favorite street in Savannah. You can easily park your car and spend the whole evening on this one street. There are a multitude of shops to check out before your meal, and the twinkling fairy lights overhead make for a magical atmosphere. 4. Dovetail (Macon)

Unlike many of the restaurants on this list, Dovetail offers both lunch and dinner. It's been a staple of the downtown Macon dining scene since 2012. The menu here is full of Southern eats made with locally sourced ingredients. You'll find more than 70 different kinds of whiskeys, plus award-winning cocktails, on the drink menu. Complimentary valet parking is available at a nearby garage, and the varied food menu truly has something for everyone.

5. Frog Hollow Tavern (Augusta)
