An Old Bank Vault In Georgia Is Now An Eternal Shrine To The King of Rock & Roll

Star Community Bar in Atlanta features a unique Elvis Presley shrine inside a former bank vault.

Alright, Elvis fans, we have a place that is dedicated to the King of Rock & Roll that you probably never have heard of before. This weird-yet-wonderful spot in Georgia is a hidden gem to many, especially because it is tucked away in the creative haven known as the Little Five Points in Atlanta. You might come for the music and cheap drinks, but if you’re a true Elvis fan, then you probably are there for the shrine built in the fortified bank vault.

Chances are, when you sidle up to Star Community Bar in L5P you’re there for the live music and the inexpensive drinks.

The building that was once a prominent bank within the city of Atlanta was converted in the 1990s into what is known by the locals at Star Bar, a place to congregate, kick back, and listen to local bands.

But for true Elvis lovers, a visit to this neighborhood watering hole means so much more.

Tucked deep inside the heavily fortified vault within this old bank building is an eternal shrine to Elvis Presley.

Nicknamed the "Grace Vault" this shrine is loaded with Elvis memorabilia of all kinds, and fans of all different walks of life can come and pay their respects to The King.

Elvis fans should see Grace Vault at least once in their lifetime, and those who just happen to be at Star Bar can also enjoy the weirdest, strangest, most comprehensive Elvis tribute shrine around, too.

When: Star Bar is open from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday, and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
