What You’ll Find Inside McGuire’s Irish Pub In Florida Is Unforgettable

McGuire’s Irish Pub in Florida is a unique and iconic spot known for its old New York decor, signed dollar bills, and delicious Irish dishes.

It's a pretty unexpected but delightful landmark: An Irish pub decorated to recall old New York that has become an iconic hot spot in Northwest Florida. Since its humble beginnings as a neighborhood pub in 1977, McGuire's Irish Pub in Florida has grown considerably. It moved to its current space in 1982 and now seats 615 people. They have also added a location in Destin, which became very popular as well. It must be the luck of the Irish.

If that luck ever faltered, though, McGuire's wouldn't have to worry. There are over one million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceiling and walls of the pub, creating a very unique atmosphere. The tradition started when the founder got her first tip and stuck it to the bar, and it has continued ever since. McGuire's also serves up delicious Irish dishes (they're most famous for their steaks) and brews their own beer in-house.

All of these things make this pub a must-visit for any Floridian, Irish or not. And of course, it gets our vote as the ultimate place to be in Florida on St. Patrick's Day.  Below are some photos that showcase McGuire's unique atmosphere:
