Perhaps unsurprisingly, the original owner of Traveler Restaurant is an avid reader. He started bringing books into his restaurant in 1980s so they could find new homes.

Today, the collection is mainly donated by local libraries and community members. Books of nearly every genre line the walls of this cozy diner.
