The Plates Are Piled High With Burgers At The Delicious Knuckleheads In Connecticut
Knuckleheads in Wallingford, Connecticut, has reopened in a new location, offering delicious burgers and a variety of other menu items.
If there's one thing we don't lack here in the Nutmeg State, it's great burgers. There are so many wonderful burger restaurants in Connecticut that it can be hard to keep up with them all. It's fitting, seeing as the hamburger was invented here at Louis's Lunch in New Haven. Apologies if you feel your burger bucket list is getting too lengthy, but we've got another one for you to try today! Knuckleheads is a delicious spot in Wallingford that has recently reopened after a hiatus that lasted nearly a year. The restaurant moved a few blocks from its original location and lucky for all its fans, it's just as tasty as ever.
You may remember Knuckleheads from the restaurant's original location on Center Street. It has recently relocated to a larger location on Main Street.
The new space is expansive and now feels more like a restaurant than a bar, though there are still a few dozen beers on tap.
It's a striking, historic building that's housed an electric company, bank, and other restaurants in the past.
The hand-formed Black Angus patties are topped with delectable ingredients to form some of the best burgers in Connecticut.
Ever had an elk burger? The meat is incredibly flavorful, and even has less fat than beef.
While many of the sandwiches on the menu are pretty standard, you can occasionally find wacky specials like this fried chicken thigh topped with brown sugar-sauteed apples.
The menu is not limited to just burgers and sandwiches, though. You can also pick up hot dogs and salads.
Next time you're craving a delicious meal, make a visit to the newly-reopened Knuckleheads.
