Located in Boulder lies the Dushanbe Tea House; a "symbol of peace & global friendship" that was created in 1987.

Situated along Boulder Creek, the Dushanbe (or just "Boulder") Tea House was gifted to the City of Boulder from its sister city of Dushanbe, Tajikistan as a way to remind Coloradans to "value cultural diversity, global cooperation, and international friendship."

Built entirely by hand, the Dushanbe Tea House features an incredible hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling...
