A Non-Profit, Pay-What-You-Can Food Truck In Arkansas Is Spreading Kindness In A Community

One of our greatest gifts in life is when we show up and express our love for each other. We do that in many ways, especially through random acts of kindness. And there is a food truck in Bentonville that’s doing just that - spreading kindness to folks in the community. Rightfully named, For The Love NWA, this non-profit food truck in Arkansas is feeding the hungry while building community and fighting poverty.

Let’s face it, some folks are motivated by money, while others are motivated by love. The kind folks at For The Love NWA are driven by love and compassion for their neighbors.

Hence the reason for this non-profit food truck that’s feeding food insecure folks throughout NWA communities.

As a pay-what-you-can food truck, the model is just that. If you can afford your meal, that’s great, but if you can’t, it’s free.

Donations are always welcome and appreciated, and you can also pay it forward by purchasing food tokens for someone who may be in need.

Each week, the food truck hosts Neighborhood Nights in Bentonville, Rogers, as well as in Springdale on first and third Mondays!

At the event, the community comes together to break bread at the tables. All are welcomed, and the meal is always free.

Additionally, there are resources available for folks who may need other forms of assistance.

Plus, there is music, games, and fun for the entire community. It’s guaranteed that you’ll leave the event with a heart full of gold.

I love that the owners challenge the guests to meet new friends, share stories, and laugh as they enjoy a warm meal together. Therefore, everyone at the event feels seen and loved.

As far as the food goes, there is no fixed menu, but it rotates to include options like spaghetti, tacos, cheesesteaks, BBQ, and more.

With the help of volunteers and local organizations, For The Love has served over 50,000 meals thus far. How great is that?

In the coming years, the food truck plans to continue its mission to “feed the hungry, cultivate community, and fight poverty.”
