We all know that fall is all about pumpkin everything. From pumpkin spiced latte to pumpkin cookies, and of course pumpkin pies, we love it all. But by far one of my favorite pumpkin treats is the sweet and fluffy pumpkin roll. You can’t go wrong with spiced pumpkin cake filled with layers of silky cream cheese. If you love this fall treat as much as I do, then head to Three Sisters Café in Eureka Springs to enjoy one of the best pumpkin rolls in Arkansas. This small-town café is so delightful, you've got to put it on your radar this fall.
“Family, love, sisterhood, and friendship” are the principles that Three Sisters Café stand on. As the name indicates, this small-town cafe was named after owner Peggy Hill and her two sisters Christine and Suzzane. Peggy, the free spirit, is a lovely soul who dances through life “bringing joy and folly” to her older sisters. That joy flows into the small-town café tucked inside a rustic cabin off Highway 62 in Eureka Springs.
Opened just over two years ago after the pandemic, this Arkansas cafe has become a favorite of locals and visitors alike. The space is a charming 5,000-square-foot boutique that also sells local art, antiques, jewelry, and more. So, not only can you enjoy a delicious meal here, but you can also take home unique pieces to add to your collection.
Speaking of meals, Peggy’s love for cooking shines as she creates comfort food that’s both tasty and satisfying. On the menu you can find paninis, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, coffee, desserts, and so much more. While the food is enough of a reason to visit this adorable Eureka Springs café, you’ll want to make a trip here during the fall to try Peggy’s decadent pumpkin rolls. The recipe can be found in her novel, “Give Peas a Chance: Recipes, Nostalgia & Songs of the '60s" in which she honors her mother and her time with her in the kitchen.
Aside from the pumpkin rolls, there are other seasonal treats that we recommend that you try, too. Coffee lovers don’t skip over the iced spiced pumpkin and cream or the hot spiced pumpkin latte. Moreover, the pumpkin pie drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream is what fall dreams are made of. So, this autumn, if you are yearning for a taste of a decadent fall treat, plan a trip to Eureka Springs and stop by Three Sisters Café to indulge in one of the best pumpkin rolls in Arkansas. You won’t regret it!
