Archibald's BBQ, which opened for business in 1962, is a tiny Northport restaurant that serves some of the best ribs in Alabama. They're smoked to perfection over hickory wood, which is why they're so delicious.
2. Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q - Decatur
Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q is an award-winning restaurant with two locations in Decatur. This iconic barbecue restaurant opened in 1925 and is best known for its "Original White Sauce," which is normally basted over hickory smoked chicken.
3. Bob Sykes Bar-B-Q - Bessemer
Bob Sykes Bar-B-Q has been in business since 1957 and is well known for its large portions and pulled pork sandwiches. This restaurant has also been voted as having the "#1 BBQ Sauce in Alabama."
