Jack’s Old Fashion Hamburger has been in the Fort Lauderdale area since 1972. A second location opened up in 1973 in Pompano Beach and still remains open today!
People flock to this restaurant for the namesake burgers - fresh ground every single day and cooked to order. You can get different size burgers, too, from the Big Jack 1/2 pound to the Original 1/3 pound, and even the Jack Jr. 1/4 pound.
One of the best parts about this burger spot is all the toppings you can add. Whether requesting from the kitchen extra cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, and more, you can also check out the condiment bar to dress up your burger yourself.
It’s not just the food that creates the element of nostalgia, but also the decor and overall ambiance. It’s a trip back in time as soon as you open the doors.
