It’s not every day that you come across a restaurant in Florida that is named after a dog and a cat - but welcome to Bud and Alley’s.
This beloved institution is South Walton’s oldest restaurant and one of the most coveted gathering spots for tourists and locals alike.
The restaurant was founded by a couple of surfing friends who decided to name the restaurant after a beloved dog and cat!
Scott Witcoski, an accomplished chef and restauranteur, owned a cat named Alley. Meanwhile, the town founder, Robert Davis, had a dachshund named Bud. After running out of time to name the restaurant, Bud and Alley’s was formed.
Today, people flock to this institution in the Seaside area in order to grab cocktails, tacos, pizza, and so much more.
After expanding the restaurant into a roof deck bar, pizza bar, and taco bar, you can have your choice of cuisine here.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that you can sit and enjoy the beautifully clear waves rolling in as you dine.
Celebrating 37 years of good food, good people, and good times, come have a meal at Bud and Alley’s and see why people are raving.
