S&B Tubing In Wisconsin Is Officially Open And Here’s What You Need To Know
S&B Tubing offers affordable tubing, canoeing, and kayaking trips on the Sugar River, with immediate access to the water and enhanced safety measures for the 2020 season.
When you need to cool off on a hot summer day, S&B Tubing has got you covered! An outfitter right on the Sugar River, S&B Tubing offers several options for getting out on the water. And since it’s now open for the season, you can plan a visit right away. Take a look:
S&B Tubing in Albany has been helping people get out on the water for more than 15 years! And this year is no different - the 2020 season has officially begun.
The season generally runs from Memorial Day – Labor Day, during which time, S&B Tubing is open daily, from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
A sweet way to spend a summer day, S&B Tubing offers tubing, canoeing, and kayaking trips down the scenic Sugar River.
Unlike many outfitters, which require you to take a shuttle to begin your float trip, S&B Tubing is situated right on the river, so your on-the-water adventure starts almost immediately.
Canoe and kayak trips typically take about 1-1/2 hours, while tubing down the river takes about 3-1/2 hours.
All floats begin at S&B Tubing’s shop and meander down the river to a designated location about 4 miles south.
After completing the float, you’ll take a shuttle back to S&B Tubing, where you began.
The 2020 season does bring with it a few changes, though. First, it may take a bit longer to get into the water since S&B Tubing will be taking extra time to sanitize the equipment.
Additionally, shuttle capacity has been reduced to allow for social distancing. Speaking of social distancing, S&B Tubing is asking visitors to be aware/respectful of other groups on the river.
And while masks are not required, they’re encouraged on the weekends since things tend to be a bit more congested.
Keep in mind that S&B Tubing does NOT accept debit or credit cards, so make sure to bring cash or your checkbook.
The best part is that a visit to S&B Tubing is as affordable as it is fun. Tubes are $15, kayaks are $20, and canoes, which can fit two people, are $10 per person. Remember, S&B Tubing is open daily, from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. For more information, call (608) 862-3933. You can also visit the S&B Tubing website or Facebook page.
