Baraboo Fair on the Square 2024 is an event folks anticipate when the temperatures finally warm. Just like the flowers, Wisconsin outdoor festivals begin to appear like spring blossoms. One of the best little spring festivals can be found in the charming community of Baraboo. The Spring Fair on the Square, scheduled for May 11, is the perfect way to celebrate the season. It’s filled with art and entertainment, as well as a few flowers – here’s why you should attend Spring Fair on the Square, one of Wisconsin’s best spring festivals.
Baraboo, with a population of about 12,398, is a historic city on the Baraboo River in Sauk County.
As early as 1665, it was a Kickapoo Village. The modern community was founded in 1838 when early settlers built homes around a sawmill.

Today, it’s the county seat of Sauk County, and it has a vibrant downtown that’s home to art galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Baraboo became famous as a circus town and there are still a lot of fun events in Baraboo throughout the year.
But one of the best events happens each spring.
The spring festival in Wisconsin which coincides with the market, draws thousands of people to downtown Baraboo.

And locally grown fresh produce will be available to purchase at the Baraboo Farmer’s Market, along with lovely flowers and live entertainment.
In addition, some of the most talented performers showcase their skills, from singers to musicians, acrobats and magicians, face painters (and more), there is something for everyone to enjoy.
And a wide variety of food vendors will keep the hunger pains away offering delicious sandwiches and sweets.

The Baraboo Children’s Museum usually donates a space for kids to be creative.
And we always count on the Baraboo Lions Club to participate with an exciting game, such as the ring toss.
