Fun for the entire family, the much-anticipated fall event includes a train ride to a pumpkin patch, music, games, and activities. Read on to learn all about this can’t miss fall favorite.

Located in Green Bay, the National Railroad Museum brings railroad history to life through well-preserved artifacts, engaging exhibits, and innovative programs.

Train rides, which are included with admission, are another perk of the museum.

In addition to regularly scheduled train rides, which are available May thru October, the museum offers various themed train rides – one of which is the Great Pumpkin Train.

This year, the Great Pumpkin Train will depart from the museum’s station on October 10th and 17th.

After leaving the station, the train will head to its next destination - a pumpkin patch.

Once at the patch, attendees will have the opportunity to de-board the train and hit the patch in search of the perfect pumpkin.

But the seasonal fun doesn’t end with a ride aboard the Great Pumpkin Train and a visit to a pumpkin patch.

Sure to be a fun-filled day for the entire family, there’s also music, crafts, activities, and games for children of all ages.

And since a majority of the event takes place indoors, it’s held rain or shine.

Tickets are $15 per person. It's money well spent, as proceeds from the Great Pumpkin Train will be used to support the museum’s programs and operations.
