This Incredible Drone Footage Will Make You Fall In Love With West Virginia All Over Again
Aerial footage from a drone offers a unique perspective on West Virginia's natural beauty, including Seneca Rocks and other scenic locations.
We have entered an age when an ordinary person can soar with the eagles and see the world from a bird's eye view. All you need is a drone and a computer. That's what YouTube user Eagle Eye did in the Summer of 2016, and the footage is incredible.
Seneca Rocks, known as West Virginia's only true peak, is an awesome sight to see from both the top and below, but it is even more amazing from above.
From that far up, you realize that the peak looks like a jagged shark fin rising out of a green ocean, as if the body of a larger being rests beneath the crest of a massive rising wave.
This unidentified waterfall looks incredible from above, allowing us to see the flowing river weave like an artery of water through the surrounding woods.
This island, jutting like a dagger into the blue water of this serene lake, gives a whole new perspective on a land mass typically scene from the ground.
The view from this location is no doubt a beautiful thing to see from that deck, but its even more fascinating from this perspective way above.
Even if you have been to these places before, there's a good chance that you never saw them like this. There is so much beauty to behold in West Virginia, and now it is very easy to see it all from a totally different point of view.
