This 2-Hour Train Ride Is The Most Relaxing Way To Enjoy Washington Scenery
The Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie offers scenic and historic train rides from April to October.
Located in Snoqualmie, the Northwest Railway Museum offers a glimpse into our local railroad history. And from April to October, you can enjoy a beautiful two-hour train ride on a historic railroad coach, where you'll be treated to glimpses of some of our state's most stunning scenery.
The Northwest Railway Museum includes the old Snoqualmie Depot, which has been restored to its original splendor.
The depot dates back to 1890, so it definitely has a historic charm.
From spring to fall, you can take a train ride here every weekend.
You can board from the Snoqualmie Depot or one of the other depots in the area, and you can return on any train.
You can expect to spend almost two hours on the train, although the time will pass quickly.
Every bit of the ride is scenic.
You can also enjoy special themed excursions throughout the year, such as the Grandparent's Grand Excursion and the Halloween Train.
There are even a few Wine Train events.
We're not kidding when we say the scenery is spectacular.
You won't be able to keep your eyes off the views.
