This Spooky Season, Washington’s Haunted Forest Will Chill You To The Bone
Haunted Forest at Grand Farms in Vaughn offers a unique medieval horror-themed Halloween experience.
Located in Pierce County in the northwest Key Peninsula, Vaughn is a small isolated community with a population of just under 700 people. This is the definition of a sleepy little town, at least until October. That's when Grand Farms transforms into Haunted Forest, a rather terrifying immersive medieval horror-themed attraction that is not for the faint of heart.
Curious? We thought so.
Haunted Forest at Grand Farms has been scaring Washingtonians for five Octobers now.
Fans young and old tend to return every year, hoping for the chance to get spooked by things that go bump in the night.
The experience, which has been described as “renfaire meets scarefaire," is unlike anything else you'll find in the state.
Haunted houses are great, but somehow an entire haunted forest seems a lot more sinister.
The trail gets longer every year, and each year, more attractions are added.
You definitely won't get the same show two years in a row here -- a different storyline is chosen every October.
You'll be dropped right into a medieval alternate reality with dragons and other mythical beasts lurking in the woods.
You never know what you'll see -- so you'll want to keep your eyes open. Remember, not everything that moves is alive.
The Haunted Forest is recommended for guests over 10, although you can decide what's appropriate for the younger goblins in your life.
The trail is about a mile long, and the adventure typically takes around 30 minutes. Admission is $28, or you can pay $40 for a Fast Pass and cut down on your wait time.
There really is nothing else like this in Washington.
If you're looking for a unique Halloween event, check out this sinister forest.
The Haunted Forest is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. through October. They'll also be open on Thursday, October 28th. Get your tickets and learn more about this enticing event here.
