It's all possible at Bark, A Rescue Pub, a Spokane spot that effortlessly combines two of our greatest loves in life.

You'll find Bark, A Rescue Pub at 905 North Washington Street in Spokane.

This magical place was founded by Josh Wade and Katie Holmes, who got the idea from a conversation they overheard at a bar. A man was talking about opening a rescue brewery where dogs could be adopted. While the couple didn't know much about beer, they knew a great concept when they heard it.

Josh and Katie did some research, and eventually, Bark was born.

Bark has partnered with the Spokane Humane Society in an effort to help them get more pets adopted into loving homes. All adoption feed and portions of the food and beverage sales go to the Spokane Humane Society.

For the time being, you can enjoy some beautiful igloo dining when you visit Bark.

The Campfire Igloo Experience is fun, affordable, and private.

Each Campfire Igloo Experience a $50 restaurant credit, your choice of Bark Board (a $15 value), a $5 donation to the Spokane Humane Society and access to the Adoption Center.

That's a lot of value for a 90 minute $110 reservation! For those who prefer a different experience, Bark also has a large heated tent.

The food here consists mainly of classic pub fare like hearty burgers, salads, soups and snacks.

Brunch is served on weekends from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and it's also fantastic.

Bark has a full bar, and if you imbibe, you'll definitely want to take advantage.

This Bloody Mary looks doggone glorious.

At any given time, between four and eight cats and four and eight dogs live on-site in a separate shelter area.

There's a $5 fee to enter the shelter area, which is open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Make a reservation in advance, and be warned... it's not going to be easy to leave alone.
