Massanutten Resort offers scenic chairlift rides between the months of April and October for those looking for a picturesque journey through the foliage. During the fall season, the ride becomes a leaf-peeping activity that's hard to beat. A roundtrip adventure lasts approximately 90 minutes and will offer breathtaking views of the mountain and surrounding property.

Experiencing the fall season at Massanutten Resort is something you'll cherish. Located just outside of Shenandoah National Park, this property is naturally stunning.

For a real treat, you can sign up for a scenic chairlift ride outside of the ski season.

The 90-minute roundtrip adventure will offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and villages.

Chairlift #4 will depart from the Ski Lodge and a quick transfer to chairlift #6 will complete your adventure to the Peak.

Many people opt for a scenic chairlift ride during the off-season so they can appreciate the resort's magnificent beauty from a totally different perspective.

As you can imagine, fall is perhaps the most visually stunning time of all for this unique ride. Just look at those striking colors!

The ride is offered from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturdays, and Sundays from August 31st until October 30th.

On October 12th, the ride will only be offered as part of the annual Fall Festival event at the resort.

The price for the chairlift is $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under, and free for children 5 and under with an adult. (Note that a minimum height of three feet is required.)
