If you're looking for something to do during the holiday season that's truly Only in Vermont, head to the annual Tractor Parade in St. Albans. During this family-friendly event, you'll be able to get into the festive spirit while cheering on tons of tractors that are decked out in lights and other holiday decor.
Sponsored by St. Albans Cooperative, this year's parade will take place on Friday, December 8. The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. local time.
While you might be used to seeing Santa Claus and elves, when was the last time you saw a tractor decorated with holiday lights?
Over the years, the parade has become popular amongst locals and tourists who travel from near and far to enjoy this festive tradition in St. Albans.
The annual parade is equally fun for the locals who go above and beyond to decorate their tractors.
Part of this memorable experience is the personal touch on each tractor.
Along with checking out all the lights, make sure to take a look at the details, like these giant candy canes, when you go to the parade.
If you own a tractor, an extra perk to taking part in the parade is getting to dress for the occasion too!
And, when you go, remember to bring your camera so you can recall what a tractor decorated as a reindeer looks like.
