This Small Town Utah Variety Store Will Make You Nostalgic For The Good Old Days

In the age of hour-long commutes, constant cell phone alerts and value meals served up from the fast food drive-through, don't you sometimes wish we could go back to the good old days? In the little town of Roosevelt, you can step back in time when you step in the door of Marion's Variety.

The little town of Roosevelt is located in the eastern part of the state, between Vernal and Duchesne.

With around 7,000 residents, it's a small town, and it has a charming Main Street that's lined with flowers and long-standing businesses.

Marion's Variety opened in 1933, and it's still serving residents and visitors alike. It's located at 29 N. Main Street.

This little shop is filled with gift items, souvenirs, and knick-knacks.

It's the kind of place you loved to visit to spend your allowance when you were a kid.

There's a little lunch counter inside. Grab a bar stool and order up a burger, sandwich or soup.

Or, snuggle into one of the two cozy booths.

The shakes here are still made the old-fashioned way, and you definitely need one while you're here.

You can visit Marion's Variety Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's closed on Sunday.
