This Charming Cider Mill In Utah Will Have You Longing For Fall

We know how beautiful Utah's mountains are in the autumn...the vibrant reds, yellows and oranges light up the foothills and canyons. But what does fall taste like? You can buy pumpkin-spiced everything at the grocery store, but the real flavor of fall comes at the farm. Sip on some freshly-pressed apple cider and you'll know that autumn has arrived.

If you live anywhere near Santaquin, you recognize Rowley's big red barn. This farm has been in operation since 1984.

The farm and its store are located at 901 South 300 West. You'll also find a smaller location at 25 North 300 West in Washington.

The farm grows all kinds of produce, including apples, cherries, peaches and pears. But if you want a true taste of fall, you've got to try the fresh apple juice and cider.

Rowley's calls its apple cider "liquid gold," and we couldn't agree more. You've never tasted apple cider 'til you've tried fresh-pressed cider.

The apples are sorted, washed and pulverized.

Then, the apple pulp goes into the press, which squeezes with 4,000 pounds of pressure to extract the fresh juice.

The juice and cider are pasteurized, bottled and labeled...and then put onto the shelves at Rowley's Red Barn so you can bring it home.

What pairs perfectly with apple cider? Warm apple cider donuts, of course.

The farm has plenty of fresh apples to take home.

Do you prefer your apples covered in caramel and chocolate? They've got those, too.

Take a ride on the tractor train for some fall fun.

While you're at the farm, pick your perfect Halloween pumpkin.

Try your luck in the corn maze.

Visit Rowley's Red Barn this fall Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM.
