Located in the bustling Heights neighborhood, the husband-and-wife-owned venture lets you escape the stresses of adulthood and go back to a time when having fun was the only thing on your to-do list.

The museum features a staggering 10,000-plus toys displayed on a rotating basis. Most of the toys are not to be touched, but there are a few interactive play areas (plus an arcade!)

You will see toys from all different eras, so no matter what decade you grew up in, prepare for a long walk down memory lane.

Many of the exhibits are just as educational as they are fun. Not only can you read the history of the toys, but there is also enlightening information about racial, gender, and body image stereotypes perpetuated by some of them over the years.

Who remembers the View-Master? Almost like an early version of virtual reality, it was one of the most popular toys in the country in the 1950s!
