Enjoy A Beachy Holiday At Kemah’s “Jingle on the Boardwalk” Christmas Parade In Texas

Celebrate Christmas Texas-style at Kemah Boardwalk with festive activities, a lighted boat parade, and visits with Santa Claus.

Christmas in Texas often looks quite different than many other areas of the country, but we consider that a blessing. Come celebrate the season like only the Lone Star State knows how at Jingle on the Boardwalk in the waterfront town of Kemah and enjoy tons of holiday festivities. It’s guaranteed that this Kemah Boardwalk Christmas celebration is one you won’t forget.

The town of Kemah is located on Galveston Bay, near Houston, TX.

Each year, the Kemah Boardwalk transforms into a winter wonderland on weekends in December. With shopping, Santa, a boat parade, live entertainment, hot cocoa, and so much more, it's the perfect way to celebrate the holidays Texas-style.

A massive tree commands the courtyard and steals your attention at first glance.

Perfectly ornamented, it immediately sets the tone for the Kemah Boardwalk Christmas celebration which is filled with ho-ho-holiday cheer.

White Christmases are a rare sight for much of the Lone Star State, but not here!

Build your very own Frosty, have snowball fights, and just have fun in the magical blanket of white that we don't get to experience very often.

Once you're all tuckered out, enter Santa's workshop.

Here you can watch the elves hard at work on toys for kids around the world. Maybe they'll even let you help out a bit!

During Kemah Boardwalk Christmas, the annual lighted boat parade sets the boardwalk aglow.

Yachts and small vessels alike have fully decked their halls with lights, snowmen, and countless more festive holiday adornments. It's definitely one of the most fun ways to enjoy the Kemah Christmas lights.

While here, you'll find red mailboxes intermittently spaced along the streets where any deposited letters are delivered to the "North Pole,"

And of course by the North Pole, we mean the place where Christmas wishes and holiday fantasies are made for folks all around the world, not just at Jingle on the Boardwalk.

Just in case the postal service makes an honest mistake, you'll even have an opportunity to meet the big man in red himself.

An up-close-and-personal visit with Santa Claus is always a highlight here. Let the tiny tots sit on his lap and whisper exactly what they want this year, then pose for a family photo that definitely belongs on the front of your Christmas card. Adults have even been known to take part, so don't be shy!

Kemah Boardwalk light show is dazzling but watch this YouTube video by Mr.S Travel Quest for another spectacular holiday display.
