I Hit The Slopes In June At This Indoor Snow Park In Tennessee

What if you could go sledding without many of the challenges, without the layers and layers of clothes, and without lugging your sled up the hill after every slide? Sounds fun, right? This is exactly the opportunity Pigeon Forge Snow in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, provides. After hearing about the indoor snow park in Tennessee, I wanted to try it. I gathered my favorite snow sledding buddies, who are in elementary school, and headed there one June afternoon.

When we arrived, we confirmed that each person was taller than 38 inches and then purchased a pass for 60 minutes of tubing and 30 minutes of snow play.

Visitors had to be 38 inches tall to tube, but there was no height requirement for playing.

We grabbed our snow tubes and headed towards the facility’s magic carpet, a moving sidewalk that takes tubers to the top of the hill.

The tubes were heavy-duty, and we enjoyed not having to carry them to the top of the hill. There were two types of tubes: child size and adult size.

We reached the top of the hill and couldn’t believe the view.

It was a big hill! We sat on our tubes and braced ourselves for a wild ride down. The hill was fast, and we quickly coasted to the bottom, loving it. We hopped up from our tubes, all smiles.

The kids couldn’t get enough of the hill.

We slid down over and over again. We tried different lanes and compared them, even though the differences were minimal.

After our 60 minutes of tubing, we checked out the snow play area. There was a hose spraying fresh snow, which was fun to see.

The kids enjoyed packing the snow into snowballs. We didn’t bring gloves, so we couldn’t comfortably hold the snow for long.

Overall, the tubing hill stole the show.

It was a fun, family-friendly activity, and the cooler indoor temperatures were a delightful break from the hot summer weather. We didn’t need winter clothing—most wore shorts and a light jacket or sweatshirt.

I recommend Pigeon Forge Snow to anyone looking for a new and unique activity.
