You’ll Never Run Out Of Things To Do This Winter At This One Place In South Dakota

When the cold, winter days start stacking up, and you're tired of hearing "we're bored," head to the Children's Museum of South Dakota. There's so much to keep you and the kiddos busy that you'll never run out of things to do.

Visit The Children's Museum of South Dakota in Brookings. It's located at 521 4th Street.

With so much to see and do, you're going to want to spend the whole day here. Start by trying out a few costumes.

If your kids live in South Dakota, they already know about the wind, but on the Cloud Climber, they get to manipulate it while problem-solving.

Everything here is hands-on. At the Creativity Lab, kids play with colors, textures and patterns. It's the most fun you can have while learning!

When the kids have been cooped up indoors too long, it's time to burn off a little energy.

Remember when you thought that adulting seemed like fun? Kids still love to play in the world of adults (and groceries are always more fun to buy when they're free!).

At Cafe Oscar, let your kids prepare a "meal" for you!

See what's going on in the Maker Studio, where kids get hands-on instruction and experience in art and science.

These special drop-off classes run on various days from 2 PM to 4 PM. Preregistration and a fee of $5 is required.

With so much to see and do, you're bound to work up an appetite. Grab a meal or snack at Cafe Coteau.

Tangle Town is the new 2017 installation by artist Patrick Dougherty, with the help of 77 volunteers. Walk through this jaw-dropping play space during your visit.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday Noon to 5 p.m.
