The Return To Deadwood Is A Paranormal Festival In South Dakota That Will Spook You Into Oblivion
Return to Deadwood is a unique festival in South Dakota that allows participants to connect with the town's haunted history through various paranormal activities.
When it comes to a colorful bunch, there is no group like South Dakota's original settlers, which included such legends as Seth Bullock, Calamity Jane, and Wild Bill Hickock. While most of us never had a chance to meet like these Wild Westerners, there a unique way to still connect with them, which is by attending the paranormal Return to Deadwood festival in South Dakota:
Taking place May 28th through May 31st, 2020, Return to Deadwood is a one-of-a-kind festival that allows participants to get up close and personal with the City of Ghost's alleged spirits.
Founded in 1876, Deadwood is a once-prosperous mining town that brought in as many colorful characters as it did gold discoveries, and once housed everything from regular Old West shootouts to brothels, saloons, and gambling halls.
Because of these rough and tumble lifestyles, Deadwood has earned the title of haunted, which can be explored in-depth during the Return to Deadwood festival!
What is on the Return to Deadwood itinerary? According to their Facebook event page, Return to Deadwood will have everything from presentations...
These aren't the boring PowerPoint presentations you see at work, as talks will be lead by such people as the Black Hills Paranormal Investigations team and horror author Jason Calderwood.
...To tarot readings and a séance...
...To a tour and investigation of the spooky Mt. Moriah Cemetery and Adams House.
In addition to all of the above, Return to Deadwood will also host historical re-enactments, a Gunslingers Ball, and other private tours.
