The Swinging Bridges On This Canopy Walk In South Carolina Might Be More Than You Can Stomach

Experience the thrill of a canopy walk with swinging bridges at Lynches River County Park in Coward, South Carolina.

Are you okay with heights? If so, then you may love the adventure of making your way through the tree tops at the canopy walk found at Lynches River County Park in Coward, South Carolina. And if you're not, there's still plenty to enjoy at this county park, so tag along for the ride and just hang back on this part of the outing.

Not all canopy walks are created equal. The one at Lynches River County Park proves that some of them are definitely more scary than others. For starters, this one has a LOT of swinging bridges.

And many of them cross over water below. It's frightening enough to think of that swinging bridge falling, but into water? No thanks!

But rest assured, the canopy walk is safe. So climb on up there and have the time of your life.

You'll venture from one tree platform to another via a series of swinging bridges suspended high above the ground.

Some people may start to feel a little queasy due to the gentle sway of the bridges. It's always good to stop on the next platform and let things return to normal before continuing.

Many people, however, make it through the canopy walk without any issue.

Will you be one of them? We hope so!

In addition to the canopy walk, other activities you can partake in at Lynches River County Park include hiking, a splash pad (seasonal), kayak and canoe rentals, archery, and geocaching.
