Experience Rhode Island’s WaterFire Like Never Before On This Unique Boat Tour

Most Rhode Islanders have witnessed at least one WaterFire in Providence. It's a magical experience where the opposing elements water and fire come together to create a spectacular show. The light reflected off the river brings the city to life in a completely new way. The fires on the water in Providence were first lit in 1997, now two decades later, we still await warm weather when the flames will be appear once again.

Seeing the fiery basins from shore is undoubtedly enchanting, but viewing them from the water is spectacular in a completely different way.

The Providence River Boat Company offers 1/2 hour boat tours that navigate through more than 80 burning braziers of Riverwalk and Waterplace Park.

Get close to the flames as their reflections dance across the water. It is a sight unlike any other.

The boat runs from sunset until midnight and tickets cost $35 per person. Make your reservations in advance, or you might miss out.

The USCG inspected vessels carry up to 18 passengers. Check in 15 minutes prior to departure so you don't miss your boat.
