Eat A 4-Course Meal While Solving A Murder At The Dinner Detective, A Quirky Experience In Rhode Island
The Dinner Detective offers an interactive murder mystery dinner experience at the Providence Marriott Downtown until the end of April.
Murder mystery dinners offer a perfect combination of good food and great entertainment. And luckily, there happens to be an amazing murder mystery experience in Providence until the end of April. The Dinner Detective is a touring theater company, and it's making a stop in Rhode Island. You won't want to miss out on this unique adventure.
The Dinner Detective is currently being hosted by the newly renovated Providence Marriott Downtown.
This is America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner show, and it's pretty exiting to have it here.
This isn't your typical murder mystery experience.
Not only is the culprit hiding in plain sight, but he or she might be in the audience.
The actors are not in costume and are often hidden among the guests, leading to an interactive experience.
It's best to pay close attention and not let down your guard.
Your $65 ticket price includes an interrogation reception, appetizers, a four course dinner, and of course, the mystery experience.
There's also a full bar if you'd like to purchase cocktails.
You'll arrive at a set check-in time, when you'll get your first set of instructions for the night.
The meal's courses are served during the show's break, which allows for a truly immersive experience.
The meal includes soup served with warm rolls and butter and a garden salad, followed by your choice of entree.
Dine on Chicken Forestiere, Baked Scrod, or Butternut Squash Ravioli, and follow it up with a creamy chocolate mousse.
While this is definitely not your average murder mystery dinner experience, it's well worth checking out.
The show will be on every Saturday through April 25th, although a few are reserved for private shows.
