The magic of Christmas in New England is something else. At first, we may groan about pulling our heavy jackets out of the closet and turning the heat on in our homes, but those groans disappear as the first snow hits the ground and holiday lights go up around the state, making even a simple stroll feel like something out of a storybook. One great Christmas walk in Rhode Island is through the Pawtucket Winter Wonderland!

Pawtucket Winter Wonderland is over its 23rd year of existence already.

Taking place in Slater Park, this gorgeous walk claims to be the largest Christmas display in all of Rhode Island!

On display are over 650 decorated trees if you can believe it. RI at Christmas is gorgeous!

There are also over 100 exciting light-up displays...

And that's not all! Along the walk are 20 Victorian-style facades to give the feeling that you're walking through a small town. Pawtucket Winter Wonderland is spectacular!
