Take A Ride On The Longest Zipline In Rhode Island At Rogers Williams Park Zoo

A day at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence just got a whole lot more fun – especially if you crave high-flying thrills that get your heart racing.

Adventurers have flocked to the Soaring Eagle Zipline since it opened in 2017. The zipline soars 115 feet above the ground, taking you on a 760-foot breathtaking journey.

Unlike traditional ziplines where you’ll fly attached to only harnesses, you’ll climb into a seat that fits two for your flight above the zoo. Drink in the sights – from glimpses of Providence to Narragansett Bay.

For a one-of-a-kind experience, take flight during the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular and the Asian Lantern Spectacular, both of which promise sensational views.

Savor every moment, because time goes fast when you’re flying. However, you can ride as many times as you want as long as you’re willing to pay the ride fee. Zoo members pay slightly less per flight than non-members.

All flyers will have to meet a few safety requirements, including standing at least 42 inches tall and weighing less than 450 pounds combined. Those who are pregnant are discouraged from participating due to the necessity of a lap belt.

Purchase your ticket at the Explore & Soar ticket booth for this seasonal adventure. The last ticket of the day is sold at 3:15 p.m. with the last zipline taking off at 3:30 p.m.
