For two glorious weekends in December, Terre Hill Park transforms into a Christmas wonderland of lights, sounds, and family-friendly activities.

Christmas in the Park will light up the nights from Dec. 1-3 and 8-10, 2023, signaling the magical kick-off of the holiday season.

Weather permitting, this popular local event will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening.

Boasting a full menu of activities, the highlight of this community event is undoubtedly the magnificent Christmas lights display.

Parking is free at this popular Christmas event in Pennsylvania while you'll have to pay a nominal fee to wander along the Christmas lights trail.

Meander along the trail that's shimmering in Christmas lights. You'll also pass more than 100 handmade lighted decorations and a live nativity.

The trail tallies nearly a quarter-mile. Those requiring assistance can request transportation.

Once you've finished the Christmas lights trail, you'll have a full evening of fun still ahead of you. Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Horse-drawn carriage rides require a nominal fee.

Head over to the activities tent, too, where the kiddos can make crafts and whisper their Christmas wishes to Santa, who will be on hand each evening from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Children's activities will range from decorating gingerbread cookies (a small fee applies) to balloon twisting.

Ice carving demonstrations will also be held on several evenings.

A night out at Christmas wouldn't be the same without seasonal goodies. Stop by Christmas Tree Place, where you can treat yourself to such goodies as soup, hot chocolate, funnel cakes, and fries.

Live entertainment will also be held throughout the event.
