Pittsburgh’s Oldest Toy Store Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

Remember how much fun it was to go to the toy store as a kid? Of course, most of us knew exactly what we wanted and begged our parents for that special toy. We could, if allowed, spend hours in the toy store, playing with the toys and dreaming of taking all of our favorites home. Unfortunately, brick and mortar toy stores today have largely become a thing of the past. The oldest toy store in Pittsburgh, however, makes it easy to relive the magic of going to a toy store when we were kids.

S.W. Randall Toyes and Giftes - with locations downtown, Squirrel Hill, and Shadyside - has been a Pittsburgh staple for nearly five decades.

With its flagship store on Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh, the toy store offers a huge assortment of toys from today and yesteryear.

So, carve out plenty of time to visit the toy store that's brimming with such favorites as children's books, yo-yos, and Legos.

And, keep an eye out for such classics as Spirograph, Boggle, Barbie dolls, and Clue.
