Mark Your Calendar For The Opening Of A Brand New Children’s Museum In Pennsylvania This December

A trip to Hershey inevitably means a whole lot of family-friendly fun, from riding the coasters and indulging in goodies at Hersheypark to making chocolate bars at Hershey’s Chocolate World. With so much to do in the chocolate city, a day usually isn’t enough time to pack in all of the fun. Now we’ll have one more attraction – a children’s museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania – to add to our itineraries for our next visit.

One of the premier family travel destinations in Pennsylvania, Hershey will soon debut a new museum that the whole family will love.

The Hershey Children’s Museum is slated to open in December 2023. While it welcomes families with children of all ages, the 8,024-square-foot museum was designed for kiddos eight years and younger.

The museum, which serves as an indoor play space and learning center, will feature a full range of self-guided activities.

A tentative opening date hasn’t yet been announced.

Little ones and their family members can paint their faces at the face-painting salon. A replica grocery store, barber shop, campsite, and NASA control will allow kids to use their imagination through play.

The museum will house approximately 40 exhibits.

If you’re looking for a unique venue for your child’s next birthday, you can book a birthday party at the museum beginning in mid-January 2024.

While there is a daily admission fee, the museum will also offer memberships, if you plan frequent visits.
