If you've never visited Winter Wonderland at the Portland International Raceway, this is the year to put it on your calendar.
With more than 250 Christmas displays, it claims to be the largest light display west of the Mississippi, and we're certainly not going to argue - it's definitely amazing!
It's been going on for over 30 years, and it's gotten more elaborate and detailed every year since it started, so we're excited to see what they have in store this year.
Since the beginning of Winter Wonderland in 1993, more than 200 million visitors have enjoyed this spectacular holiday venue.
The brightly lit tunnels are favorites...
...and visitors of all ages are delighted with the cheerful, festive displays.
Not only is Winter Wonderland a magical holiday event, but it's also a fundraiser for Sunshine Division - a charitable organization that provides food and clothing assistance to those who need a little extra help throughout the year.
Over the years, more than 43 tons of food have been donated to Sunshine Division via the Winter Wonderland light display. Bring some canned food donations to Winter Wonderland - there are donation barrels at the gate. All proceeds from ticket sales also go to this wonderful organization.
Winter Wonderland is a very popular attraction, and weekend nights are especially busy. For fewer crowds, try to visit early in the month on a weeknight.
