With A Splash Park, Waterfront, And Playscape, Blue Lake Regional Park Is The Ultimate Kid-Friendly Summer Spot In Oregon
Blue Lake Regional Park in Oregon offers a variety of family-friendly activities and natural beauty, making it an ideal all-inclusive destination.
We've heard about all-inclusive getaways in Oregon, but what about all-inclusive destinations in Oregon? We're talking about the kind of family-friendly places that offer something for everyone, from the tiniest tykes to intrepid retirees... and every age in between. This is the magic that awaits at Blue Lake Regional Park, the ultimate kid-, parent-, and grand-parent friendly destination in Oregon.
Blue Lake Regional Park covers 101 acres in Fairview, Oregon. It's an oasis near the Columbia River, and believe us when we say that this park really does have it all.
There's a small $5 admission fee per car to enter the park, but it's worth it. Why? Because this park is an all-inclusive, epic, family-friendly destination. Leave Fido at home, however, as dogs are not permitted due to the park's pristine ecosystem.
Arrange your beach towel on the banks of Blue Lake's swimming beach and cool off on a hot, sticky, summer day in the PNW.
If the kids have extra energy post-swim (and when do they not?), let them loose in the park's epic spray ground. Fountains and water cannons and showers, oh my!
The spray ground is open Memorial Day through Labor Day on days when temperatures rise above 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
There's no shortage of terrestrial adventures at this park, either. Take a stroll to explore the park's three ponds and wetlands, and keep an eye out for wildlife, because it is abundant! You'll see all kinds of migratory birds, amphibians, and furry four-legged friends... and you might even get a glimpse an elusive muskrat!
For kids, the traditional playground at Blue Lake Regional Park is a ton of fun, but the nature playscape is next-level awesome, inviting kids to come and immerse themselves in the wide, wonderful world.
In fact, that's really what Blue Lake Regional Park in Oregon invites everyone to do...
... to come and celebrate the beauty of the world around us. This is real life for those of us lucky enough to call Oregon home, and this underrated little park is a delightful place to revel in our state's everyday resplendence.
Reminder, Metro offers free life jackets that visitors can borrow if they'd like to swim in the lake!
