Take a look:
Located less than a mile south of Newport, the South Beach Fish Market is a little hole in the wall restaurant and market with seafood to die for.
While it's easy to drive right past this unassuming market, it's a popular spot for locals and tourists. A line normally stretches out the door.
Once you're inside the market you'll find a great selection of shellfish, smoked local fish, and locally canned fish, including salmon, sturgeon, and albacore tuna.
Their smoked fish is marinated overnight in a special brine sauce, and then slowly natural alder wood smoked for unbelievable flavor.
You won't want to miss trying the fresh Dungeness crab. It's purchased directly from local fishermen.
The on-site crab cooker runs all day long. They'll even cook your freshly caught crab for you.
A trip to the market is not complete without ordering some freshly cooked seafood off of the restaurant menu. From the delicious halibut fish and chips to the creamy clam chowder, you really can't go wrong.
The popular crab cocktail is loaded with a mix of leg and white meat and served with a spicy cocktail sauce.
One bite is all it takes to get hooked on the magical salmon candy. This hickory-smoked King Salmon is glazed with brown sugar.
Whether you dine inside or outside at the picnic tables, you're sure to be in seafood heaven.
