And if it's pristine panoramas of the Oregon Coast you're craving, the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad always delivers. The historic Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad offers amazing views of the coast and surrounding areas. This ride is perfect for the young and the young at heart. All aboard!

The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad has been in operation since 2002. It utilizes the historic rail line that crossed the coast range and runs passenger excursions between Wheeler, Rockaway, and Garibaldi.

The popular Coastal Experience journey begins at the Garibaldi Depot. You can also board at the station in Rockaway Beach.

Train lovers will get a kick out of the old railroad museum located at Garibaldi Depot.

The open-air car is a great way to enjoy the stunning scenery.

There are no restrooms or food and drinks for sale on board, but passengers are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages.

You can also choose to sit in the covered passenger car.

This scenic railroad excursion runs parallel to Highway 101 and travels past several lakes, forests, and coastal areas.

The train stops at the charming Rockaway Beach. Passengers have about 30 minutes to explore here, before the train heads back to Garibaldi.
