The One Enchanted Stroll In Oklahoma You Need To Take This Holiday Season
Experience the magic of Christmas at Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll in Edmond with festive holiday displays and a special event featuring Santa.
Looking to experience the magic of Christmas outdoors? If so, head to Edmond to Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll and enjoy a quarter-mile walk with over 40 festive holiday displays along a beautiful walking path. It's the only 3-D holiday light display of its kind in the state and it's just the place to experience the magic of Christmas.
Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll started in 2017 and has grown into an Oklahoma tradition for many families. The event takes place from November 21, 2022 - January 1, 2023, from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
The enchanted walk takes place at Mitch Park at 1501 West Covell Road in Edmond. There is free parking and the event is free to attend.
Be sure and bundle up because you will need to walk the path to see all the light displays. Cars are not allowed on the path.
The walk-through event is about .25-mile long so it's short enough for even the little ones to enjoy.
On December 17 there is a special event from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, food trucks, and pop-up shops.
The event is dog friendly...just make sure Fido is on a leash and be sure and pick up after your dog.
After you stroll through the park, experience a magical time on the ice at the Edmond Ice Rink.
To learn more about this enchanted stroll, visit the Luminance website or follow along on their Facebook page.
If you prefer to stay in your car to look at Christmas lights, check out the Purcell Lights from the Heart event. It is a 2-mile holiday light drive-thru display that will make your holiday season magical. Enjoy everything from kettle corn to Santa visits to penguin light displays and much more.
