The Philbrook Museum of Art is located at 2727 S. Rockford Road, Tulsa, OK. It also has a satellite location in Tulsa's Brady Arts District in Downtown Tulsa.
The main location consists of a 1920s Italian Renaissance villa, formal and informal gardens and 23 acres of exquisite grounds.
As you enter the museum, you'll step into the stunning rotunda. From there you can pay to enter the museum or visit the gift shop or restaurant.
The Philbrook Museum of Art Gallery features over nine different collections of art from around the world.
You'll see pieces of art, such as this 7th century piece by Luca Giordano.
The museum has permanent collections as well as a special exhibition gallery.
Make sure you check out these two beloved Great Danes - the first works to enter the Philbook collection in 1939.
Tours are available if you wish to be guided by a docent, or you can stroll the halls all on your own time. Docent-led tours begin at 2pm daily.
Many classes and events are held for all ages. From painting to lectures to scavenger hunts, the activities are all fun.
On a beautiful day, set time aside to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.
The view is absolutely breathtaking.
