The Ohio Amusement Park That Transforms Into A Winter Wonderland Every Year

Snow isn't the only thing about winter that transforms Ohio. Wintertime brings a magic all its own—especially at Kings Island Amusement Park in Mason, Ohio. If you're looking for something absolutely magical to do this December, consider visiting Kings Island to experience the enchantment of WInterFest.

Each December, this beloved Cincinnati area amusement park transforms into a real life winter wonderland.

You'll find it at 6300 Kings Island Dr., Mason, OH 45040.

With millions of Christmas lights, ice sculptures and even some fake snow, you'll be enchanted. Select rides will be open with more than 50 attractions to enjoy.

WinterFest is open until December 30 from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. throughout the week and from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturdays. (Note: WinterFest is closed on December 24 and 25.)

The Royal Fountain even transforms during WinterFest. Guests of all ages can try their hand at ice skating.

You'll also likely see some of your favorite characters roaming about. There are several live shows to attend and a nightly tree lighting ceremony.
