If you love yard sales, then you're lucky to be living in Ohio. Most people have no idea that the World's Longest Yard Sale stretches across the western border of Ohio. It's a truly epic weekend-long yard sale you're going to absolutely love. You'll find so many treasures just waiting to be discovered at the 127 Yard Sale. It's the biggest yard sale in Ohio and it's worthy of a road trip. Take a look:
Mark your calendars for August each year! This year's sale is going to be bigger and better than ever.

Most of the route follows Highway 127 from Addison, MI all the way to Gadsden, AL. It covers a total of approximately 690 miles.
The yard sale includes 6 states; Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. It's a great way to see portions of the Midwest and South you might not otherwise see.
With—literally—thousands of vendors every year, the possibilities of what you'll find hiding in this massive yard sale are seemingly endless.
For list of Major Vendor Stops, a map of the route and other information, visit the 127 Yard Sale website.
Along the way, you'll find some stops are located right outside of flea markets. Pictured is Pleasant Treasures in Hamilton, OH during 2016's yard sale.
Vendors set up outside in the parking lot, but there are some inside as well. Don't miss them!
You'll also find yard sale stops within the yards of people's homes, fields, pastures, side streets along the highway, in empty lots, businesses, parks and more.
The first 127 Yard Sale took place in 1987 "to encourage travelers to bypass interstate highways such as I-40 and I-75 in favor of scenic routes that would take them through rural communities and allow them to experience what the small towns and cities had to offer," according to the yard sale's website.
Be sure to enjoy small town Ohio and the beautiful rural scenery along the way. Just keep going—and let yourself end up wherever the route takes you.
