The Prairie Village Museum is a unique village in Rugby, North Dakota where time stands still.

The many buildings include places like a land office and train depot, school house, saloon, jail, and more, all moved from various small towns around this area to be preserved here.

There is also a cook car and train to go with North Dakota's railroad history, which helped found most of the state's towns that still exist today.

Even the insides of the 20 buildings are still back at the turn of the century, filled with vintage items and antiques that make the picture perfect snapshot that will never move forward.

During special events, the Prairie Village Museum fills with characters that make it all the more authentic to its time. It is a must visit!
