You'll find Little Switzerland at mile marker 334, on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This little village was established in 1909 as a private resort.

Little Switzerland sits at 3,500 feet, surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Switzerland Inn was the first one built here, and was completed in 1910.

Guest also stay at the Skyline Village Inn, built in 1948 ...

...or the Big Lynn Lodge. Each is styled with a Swiss theme.

Switzerland Cafe and General Store sit at the hub of Little Switzerland.

Enjoy a delicious sandwich for lunch at the cafe.

Don't forget dessert. The cafe is well-known for its delicious cakes and pastries.
