Once a textile manufacturing company, The Depot at Gibson Mill is now an enormous thrifting destination in North Carolina. Gibson Manufacturing Company was established in 1899 and the factory became Cannon Mills' Plant No. 6 in 1928 with 31,396 spindles used for spinning fibers into colored yarns, fabrics, clothing, and other items. The joy here is the bones of the building — bricks and hardwood are just as inspiring to look at as the inventory. And with more than 600 individual dealers, that is saying a lot. See why The Depot draws such a crowd in Concord, NC.
