North Carolina’s Only Dinosaur Trail Is A Thrilling Walk Through Prehistoric Times

I have four very exciting words for you: North Carolina dinosaur walk. Sounds pretty interesting, doesn't it? In case you haven't heard the news yet, this summer there's a farm in North Carolina that's been overrun with prehistoric creatures who are visiting for a limited time only through Aug. 3, 2024. So don't walk... RUN... over to Fayetteville and get in on the thrilling dinosaur trail through the woods at Sweet Valley Ranch.

Sweet Valley Ranch is a 300-acre farm with seasonal events designed to entertain locals and visitors alike with captivating entertainment. And their event this summer dubbed "Dinosaur World" is taking the Fayetteville area by storm.

This dinosaur trail has become widely known as one of the best in the state. More than 100,000 visitors have witnessed this incredible place, and this summer you can also partake in this wild adventure.

Ticket holders for Dinosaur World are loaded onto a tram pulled by a tractor and transported over to the start of the Dinosaur Trail. This will start the epic journey and no doubt be one of the top family-friendly attractions in North Carolina you attend this year.

Most are completely surprised when one or two of the dinos escape and track them down at the start of the wagon ride...

Upon arrival at the start of the trail, visitors disembark the tram to continue the journey on foot. Don't be surprised if you feel a bit like you're visiting Jurassic Park. On the quarter-mile walking trail through the woods, 25 different dinosaurs flank the trail and come to life as visitors pass.

Each one is powered by life-like animatronics designed to look, feel, and SOUND like the real thing would have sounded all those years ago when dinosaurs freely roamed the earth.

Whether you experience it in broad daylight or have the disadvantage of walking through after the sun sets, the dinos here will both captivate you and send shivers up your spine.

Tickets will vary in price depending on which experience you would like to have. The daytime and nighttime experiences are separate but if you would like to combine them you can get a discount. The farm has many more attractions you can combine with your Dinosaur World ticket to make a full day of fun the whole family can enjoy. Other attractions you can add on to the Dinosaur World ticket include, The Fossil Museum, Go-Kart Nature Trail Ride, admission to five bouncy castles, fishing, dinosaur rides, and much much more.
