Nature meets adventure at Sweet Valley Ranch. Here, you'll find 40 acres of protected wetlands, four ponds, and 20 acres of hay fields... and that's just a small sample of everything they offer!
It seems like there's a little bit of everything at this fun farm, from a Macaw Aviary to a 3,800-square-foot hay barn.
This cutie patootie is the ranch mascot: Tiny! Tiny is a bit of a misnomer, though... he's a 2,500-lb Brahman bull!
There are around 350 animals living here, so there's ample opportunity to make a new friend (or, you know, 300 new friends).
If it's your first time visiting the ranch, a farm tour might be your best chance to see everything all at once. This 45-minute guided tour on a tractor-pulled wagon will get you up close and personal with the animals, and it will immerse you in the farm's unique history.
There are even some extinct residents at the farm's Dinosaur World exhibit, which takes visitors back to an era when dinosaurs walked the earth.
No detail has been spared along this quarter-mile paved trail. A couple dozen dinosaurs are wandering the site... and you never know which one you may spot!
At this exhibit, visitors will walk or shuttle down the Dinosaur Trail, where more than 25 animatronic dinosaurs interact with an abandoned research lab, a wrecked car (which one dinosaur tried to eat), and so much more.
This isn't your standard "parking lot" dino exhibit... this is likely the most interactive dinosaur exhibit in North Carolina! It's fun for the whole family.
You can find admission prices on their website, but a ticket to Dinosaur World also includes admission to the Fossil Museum, Ice Age exhibit, a self-guided farm tour, and more.
There's so much to see here! The family could easily spend a whole day exploring all that this charming North Carolina ranch has to offer.
The fun doesn't stop there. There's also a Tiny's Adventures exhibit, which features inflatables and a stunning 3,500-square-foot bouncy playground.
There's truly no better way to take advantage of the Old North State summer!
If you're not afraid of heights, you'll love the 35-foot dinosaur slide in Tiny's Adventures.
Kids and adults that are kids at heart will find so much to do here. There's something that will delight all ages!
If outdoor sports are your jam, you'll love their go-kart and ATV rides, plus their multitude of fishing lakes.
You can buy tickets online to plan for your adventure in advance. Be sure to ask your family and friends if they want to come along... this adventure is best enjoyed with a crew!
And no matter what, be sure to budget time to swing by the gift shop.
This indoor spot is also the perfect place to cool off after some fun in the sun!
