Tucked away off of Goodleburg Road, this haunted cemetery in Buffalo was active between 1811 and 1927 but has since been left as a local discontinued plot of land in town.

While the cemetery went undisturbed for many years, during the 1990s, stories began to swirl around Western New York that paranormal activity had been reported at this scary place in Buffalo.

While the cemetery is mostly made up of original settlers of South Wales and the other towns in the nearby area, there's one reason why many believe Goodleburg Cemetery to be truly haunted.

You may have heard stories about "The Lady In White" that reportedly haunts the area and even the spirit of a paranormal activity investigator who died here back in 2003, but the main spirit that's known at this haunted place in NY is that of Albert Speaker.

According to those who have reported paranormal activity here, Albert Speaker was once a local doctor here in Western New York whose practices resulted in the deaths of many women and their unborn children in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Albert Speaker is known to do whatever it takes to get visitors to leave this haunted cemetery in Buffalo and the areas surrounding it. Many say that the spirit is often accompanied by the sound of crying babies near the cemetery's back pond.
